Just How Powerful Are Online Reviews?
Any company that has taken a marketing strategy using the internet most likely has a set of online reviews somewhere. If you are on the verge of hiring the services or buying a product of a certain company, but you are skeptical about this business then online reviews will help you make up your mind by showing you the reputation of the company. Online reviews are testimonies from previous clients and those businesses who are honest with the services they give will be okay to subject themselves from such reviews. The world of business can get pretty tough and you need to always find way to make your business better than the rest and that is why some companies create their own reviews or make their friends create on to praise their business. Despite there being fake ones, these online reviews are still great tools for when you are researching about a certain company you want to hire. It is not that hard to spot a legitimate review from a fake one. If a certain author is somewhat overdoing the whole online review thing for a specific company then he or she is most definitely a fake one who was probably paid by the company to say such nice things.
Open up Google and do a web search for a specific company. You need to open up a few of the search engine results to spot the fake or true reviews. Make a comparison of all the reviews you read on a few web search results of a specific company and take note of the author because fake authors usually go from one website to another and shower the company with glowing reviews. You need to be very observant about every detail you read because no body is ever that much of a fan of a company that they would go the extra mile to put a great online review on every website. Although this may sound like such a deceitful act, its not really as bad as it sound because some companies just want to make sure that their name is not stained and they won’t lose customers due to a lousy review.
All these companies have their way of marketing online even if it means deceiving the people and you as a consumer must be smart enough to use these online reviews to your advantage so when you call up a company, you must tell them that the only reason you went with them is because they have a glowing review online. Repetition is key so when you are talking on the phone, continue to mention the online review you have read. Twenty good reviews will be killed by one bad review and this is what the companies will be thinking when they are servicing you so they will truly aim to give their best to avoid getting a bad review from you.
